A Cheerful End to the Year

What a festive end to 2023 Watauga County Schools has experienced! Students and staff truly went above and beyond with holiday splendor!

Santa Claus made special visits to the Pk-8 schools in the district since all students (and staff) made the "Nice" list. While at schools he posed for photos with students, joined in on holiday sing-alongs and read aloud some of his favorite books.

In addition to concerts, an array of other festivities took place at our schools. Green Valley kindergartners were eager to spread holiday cheer! They delighted crowds with their Grinch-inspired production and visited the Central Office to sing carols to staff.
