Mrs. Carrie Ingram

Mrs. Ingram began her education as a NC Teaching Fellow at UNC-CH.  She taught 7th and 8th grade ELA in Wilmington and then moved back to her hometown of Lexington, NC to teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA.  In 2007, Mrs. Ingram was the Lexington City Schools Teacher of the Year.  She is married to Allen Ingram, a 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Valle Crucis and they have four children: Rachel, Ford, Ruby, and Baxter.  Mrs. Ingram homeschooled her four children until they moved to Boone at which time they all four enrolled in Blowing Rock School and she began substituting and tutoring students who needed help in reading.  Mrs. Ingram added K-6 to her teaching license and is excited to teach at the elementary level this year!
