Parents & Guardians, please call your school now to register for Kindergarten Orientation 2025. Students must attend orientation in the district in which they are domiciled.
Enrollment
All new student enrollments are completed online. To begin the online enrollment process, please go to Enroll My Child, choose 2025-26 New Student Registration, and follow the instructions. Be sure you choose the 2025-26 form. You will be asked to set up a parent Infinite Campus registration account. Please make sure you know your child's home school before you begin.

Preparing for Kindergarten
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has created a Let's Get Ready! Guide for families.
When families and caregivers are empowered with developmental knowledge and strategies to support the growth of young children, they can enhance the early learning experience. This will help the child more easily transition to kindergarten. The only requirement for kindergarten entry is that the child turns 5 on or before August 31st of the current year. The Let's Get Ready! Guide's intended use is not to determine if a child "is" or "is not" ready for kindergarten, rather this guide provides family-friendly resources on age-appropriate developmental skills, support tips, and at-home activities where adult/child interactions are the central focus.
