Ms. Stumb
I am pleased to be part of the staff at Bethel School. 2016-2017 will be my fourth year at this school teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies. This will be my fifteenth year in teaching. I completed my undergraduate degree at Appalachian State and my graduate degree at UNC-Greensboro. I received my National Board Certification in 2012.
What I love most about teaching is introducing students to new authors and new ideas. What I love about teaching at Bethel are the students who are always hardworking and willing to please.
My family and I spend a lot of time hiking in the woods and picking raspberries in the summer. My favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norman Juster. In this book, a character discovers the way to a land where the Kingdoms of Digitopolis and Dictionopolis are fighting to decide if numbers or words are more important. I love coffee, chocolate, knitting, and baking.
