Welcome to Art!

Hello! I have been teaching art in the mountains of North Carolina since 2006.  The 2019-20 school year will be my fifth year teaching art in Watauga County.  I live in Boone with my husband Ryan, our four-year-old son Will, and our kitty, Luna.  I love to create outside of the classroom.  I enjoy ceramics and fibers, and drawing in my sketchbook.  My family loves spending time outside hiking and playing in creeks.  I'm looking forward to a creative and exciting year ahead!
