Media Center Classes had fun sampling different kinds of books at our "Book Tasting" the week of March 2nd. We had three Book Trivia winners every day of the week, and those winners went on to a drawing for a gift certificate from Foggy Pine Books, which was won by Bailey M. in Sixth grade.

Last year we began to separate, relabel and arrange our fiction by genre. Scary Books , Fantasy and Mystery sections are now complete, as well as a small Animal Fiction section. Next up is Historical Fiction. We'll continue to add other genres this year. This has already begun to help students locate the books they want to read without frustration or confusion. Media Assistants will help with this process during their Exploratory, but we could use additional volunteers to help with this process. Please email Mrs. Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help.
