I have been a Social Worker for 10 years.  I graduated from Appalachian State with my BSW in 2008 and then completed my MSW in 2012.  I spent four years working in Foster Care and Adoptions at Caldwell County Department of Social Serivices.  I took a job as a School Social Worker in 2012 with Avery County Schools.  I came to Watauga County in 2014 where I have had the privlidge of serving Parkway, Mabel, and Bethel Elementary.  I love serving our families in Watauga County.  As a Social Worker I am the link between school and home.  I monitor attendance at all three schools as well as provide case management services to families who may be in need of services and resources.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  I am happy to assist!
