Hi Everyone! 

I'm so excited about starting teaching at Cove Creek this year. I grew up in Asheville, but fell in love with Watauga County while I was in school at Appalachian State. My husband's family lives in Newland, and Mr. Pugh teaches math at Blowing Rock Middle School. We have two cats, Luna and Nugget.

I love skiing, playing in the snow, reading books, and trying new recipes. Our family travels as much as we can, and my favorite thing about teaching social studies is learning about different people and ideas from all over the world.
