I am from Vilas, North Carolina where I attended Cove Creek Elementary and Watauga High School. I graduated from Appalachian State University Summa Cum Laude in May of 2020 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education, a minor in History, and a concentration in Social Studies. While in college, I spent my summers from 2015 to present working for Blowing Rock Parks and Recreation where I was a camp counselor for children ages 5 and 6, a head lifeguard, and a co-manager of the pool. As a first year teacher, I am ecstatic to begin my career at Bethel and become a part of the special community here!
