Mrs. Jamie Ward

Since the Fall of 2016, I have served part-time as the 4-8 math intervention specialist at Bethel. In 2015, I retired after teaching middle school math and science for thirty years. The majority of that time was spent teaching middle school math and science at Hardin Park Elementary in Boone. I began my college career at Sandhills Community College (1984) in Pinehurst, and then transferred to Appalachian State University for both my four-year degree (1986) and my Master's Degree (1993). While at ASU, I met my husband, Kevin Ward. We have been married since December of 1987. We have triplet daughters who all attended Appalachian State University. In my free time I love to read or spend time in our flower and vegetable gardens. Our family also includes 3 miniature donkeys, 2 cats, 3 goats and a sheep.
