Licensure
Effective January 2024, individuals who are currently employed with Watauga County Schools must meet the following renewal requirements by June 30 of their renewal year:
- K-5 Employees Credits
- 3.0 Literacy Credits
- 3.0 Content Credits
- 2.0 General Credits
- Grades 6-12 Employees:
- 4.0 Content Credits
- 4.0 General Credits
- Student Services
- 4.0 Professional Discipline Credits
- 4.0 General Credits
- Administrators
- 4.0 Executive's Role
- 4.0 General Credits
