Mrs. Sieviec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art from Radford University in Radford, Virginia, along with a current North Carolina K-12 Art Educator’s License. She has refined her teaching practice with over five years of experience as a full-time art educator for grades K-8 in both Virginia and North Carolina. Mrs. Sieviec is enjoying her second year as a Parkway Patriot!

As an artist and educator, her portfolio is constantly evolving, and she enjoys teaching a variety of media, including:

- Graphite, charcoal, pen-and-ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel, and colored pencil drawing

- Oil, acrylic, tempera, and watercolor painting

- Ceramics, sculpture, collage, papier-mâché, batik, and mixed media art

- Monoprint, linocut, and screen-printing processes

- DSLR photography, graphic design, and Yearbook

Mrs. Sieviec loves the opportunity to be creative every single day - not just with paint and canvas, or with a lump of clay; she is creative in her methods of conveying her expertise to students and igniting in them an interest in art and a confidence in their own abilities.

When Mrs. Sieviec is not teaching art or creating art, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling to new places, and working on restoring her historic home. She resides in Elkin, North Carolina, with her husband and two cats.
