WHS Announcements

  • WHS Spring Musical Update

Out of an abundance of caution and respect for the world-wide response to the COVID-19 pandemic, musical co-directors Mr. Walker and Ms. Miller have made the proactive decision to postpone the WHS Spring Musical production of ALL SHOOK UP.  All previously scheduled rehearsals, band practices and technical workdays are suspended as of 3 pm on Thursday, March 12, and tickets will not go on sale to the cast and crew this weekend.

We are hoping to reschedule the performance on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 23 (Friday and Saturday only).  To that end, we request that our student performers continue to rehearse their lines and singing and blocking and choreography.  As the global response to COVID-19 evolves, we will continue to do everything we can to protect the health and safety of our student performers, while still giving them the opportunity to share the amazing work they have done on this production.  We will re-evaluate the safety of this postponement on May 1, 2020 and communicate further decisions to all participants at that time.
