Board Meetings
The Board of Education conducts its regular meeting the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Margaret E. Gragg Education Center on Pioneer Trail, just off of Highway 194 North. A closed session portion of the meeting takes place at 5:30 p.m. Special Board meetings are held on occasion and will be announced at least 48 hours in advance on this website and to local news media.
Citizens wishing to speak with the Board should contact the Superintendent’s Office at 264-7190 one week prior to the regular Board meeting. In addition, citizens may place an item on the Board agenda by submitting the request in writing to the superintendent’s office no later than ten days prior to the regular monthly meeting. Please note that matters involving individual students, school personnel, or legal issues cannot be addressed in open session.
Additional guidelines for Board meetings are available in policy 1400 Board Meetings and policy 1410 Public Participation in Board Meetings. Additional policies governing Board operations are available in the Board Policies section of this website.
